Exercise 2Sentence VarietyBuilding on your strengthCompleted

These are from your exam. Rewrite each one so it starts with something other than the subject.

a) Your sentence: "AI can automate repetitive tasks and allow employees to focus on creative work."

b) Your sentence: "Many employees fear that AI could replace them in their positions."

By automating repetitive tasks, AI frees up time for creative work.
Good rewrite examples: (a) "By automating..." starts with a gerund phrase. That changes the rhythm. (b) "In many positions..." or "Due to automation concerns, many employees..." give new perspective. The key is that you are reshaping the idea, not changing the meaning.
Exercise 3ConnectivesExpanding your range

You used "first of all", "furthermore", and "however" in your text. Replace each one with a stronger alternative.
